• Your Offset AI subscription isn’t just software access — it directly funds both sustainability and product innovation. Every plan includes:
  • Offset Purchases → Verified, high-quality carbon and water offsets automatically purchased on your behalf.
  • Impact Calculation → Conversion of usage data into estimated carbon and water impact.
  • AI Usage Tracking → Automatic tracking of ChatGPT's environmental impact across your team.

How We Determine Pricing

We’ve designed our pricing model to keep things predictable, fair, and flexible. How it works:

1. Estimate Usage by Team Size
   We estimate your team’s likely AI usage based on the number of users.
2. Add a Cushion
   To prevent you from constantly topping up offset purchases (and paying extra payment processor fees), we build in a cushion of additional credits. This way, you’re covered for more than your expected usage.
3. Year-End Options
   After one year on the platform (calendar year cycle), you choose what to do with any unused credits:
   • Donate to support additional offset projects.
   • Roll Over to the next year’s usage.
   • Refund the unused balance.
4. If You Go Over
   If actual usage exceeds the cushion, you simply pay a top-off fee to complete offsetting for that year. No penalties — just a straightforward adjustment.

Technology / Offset Split

Every subscription is broken down into a 30 / 70 split: 70% of your subscription goes directly to offset purchases and 30% goes to the technology, customer support, ongoing product development, and payment processor fees.

Offset Projects

We provide offsets through our partners ClimeCo, Native, and We are Neutral. Every project is chosen based on it's ability to affect change within the supply chain of AI technology. Our full project portfolio is available upon request.
